James is the father who is an accountant

 

Stella is the mother who is a paralegal

 

Sam is the son who wants to be a filmmaker one day but has to go to school for now

 

Episode 1 Pilot:

 

The Schwartz family goes to a fall festival with Sam’s best friend, Ted. However, they learn a nasty little secret about them that could ruin their friendship forever.

The Schwartz family is having one of those days when it even gets worse with a sudden phone call.
